Gala Dinner at El Lucero Restaurant

The Gala Dinner will be held on Saturday, October 25th at 19:30 at El Lucero Restaurant. (www.restaurantelucero.com)
The dinner features a buffet of Andalusian specialties such a jamon serrano, queso manchego, and berenjenas con miel, pastries, and a glass of sparkling Spanish wine known as “cava”. Wine, beer, soft drinks, coffee and water are also included.
Tuna musicians will be on hand to
serenade you with traditional Spanish folk music
during the evening.
In addition will be a special performance
by Moorishdancers from the Technical University in Munich.

After dinner the festivities continue separately with dancing in the restaurant’s own disco, with a DJ playing international music. There is no entrance fee for the disco, and beverages are available at a special reduced rate.
The price for dinner, beverages, all entertainment and transportation to and from the Congress site is 30€ per person. Reservations are required before Tuesday, October 7th.
*Please note that buses will be scheduled at staggered times during the evening so that both those who wish to depart after the ceremony and dinner, and those who wish to remain at the disco may do so without worrying about transportation.
GUIDED TOUR The Alhambra

Once the residence of the Muslim rulers of Granada and their court, the Alhambra is now one of Spain's major tourist attractions exhibiting the country's most famous Islamic architecture, together with Christian 16th century and later interventions in buildings and gardens that marked its image as it can be seen today.
The history of the Alhambra is linked with the geographical place where it is located: Granada. On a rocky hill and the banks of the River Darro, protected by mountains and surrounded by woods, among the oldest quarters in the city, the Alhambra rises up like an imposing castle with reddish tones in its ramparts that prevent the outside world from seeing the delicate beauty they enclose.
On Friday, October 24th at 20:00 there will be a guided tour of the Alhambra. It will be a night visit for the special price of €20 per person for attendees of the Sietar 2008 Global Congress.
Tickets must be purchased in advanced and are available until Friday, October 10th, 2008.
