Welcome! Its time…

Welcome to the SIETAR Congress from October 22 to October 25 in beautiful Granada, Spain. A map, as well as bus and congress venue information can be found here.

On Wednesday the 22nd, the registration desk and information booth will open on the second floor of the Palacio de Congresos at 12.00 noon.  There you will pick up your congress badge with admissions for meals, the Alhambra tour, and the Gala dinner. In the registration area you can pick up your congress bag after you get your name tag at the registration desk. 

A cashier will be on hand if you have any accounts to settle. If you have items for the show and tell space, this is the time to deliver them to the registration desk.

For those of you who would like to join in, there will be a First Timer’s Session at 17.00 in the room entitled Andalucia III.

This will be followed by the official opening event at 19.00 in the Auditorium at the Palacio to welcome everyone to the SIETAR Global 2008 Congress.  It includes welcoming words from the director of Alhambra, Maria del Mar Villafranca; the keynote speech by Miguel Gandert and a flamenco dance performance.

At 20.00 the welcoming cocktail begins!

Friday evening features a guided starlight tour of Alhambra. Tickets for this and the Gala dinner are still available through the congress web site address.

After 3 intense days full of interesting & diverse sessions, the Congress will close on Saturday, October 25 at 20.00 with a Gala Dinner at El Lucero restaurant.  Please see the printed program for more information.
