Global Congress 2008
Experts and professionals in the intercultural field came together in Granada, Spain, for five days from 22-26 October to share our latest research and best practices, and plan strategies for cultural exchange, understanding and intercultural synergy. The program included sessions attractive to people concerned with international business, global education, domestic multicultural issues, and others who conduct research into the culture of groups of people.
Granada was chosen to host the 2008 global congress because it is a beautiful, culturally rich city, whose monuments remind us of a golden age when Muslims, Jews and Christians created together one of the most outstanding cultures in all of history. Granada today stands as a symbol of how fruitful cultural exchange and synergy can help us rebuild our very torn and environmentally imperiled world. The conference venue was the ultra-modern Palacio de Exposiciones y de Congresos de Granada, a spacious learning and networking oasis located in the bustling city center of the city.
