NEW! In 2008 take advantage of POSTER SESSIONS to reach more attendees more effectively

Poster sessions are an extremely effective way to exchange information and to communicate ideas, research, and programs. Poster sessions may be used to:

  • describe an innovative intercultural program
  • present the process and results of an initiative or practical problem-solving effort
  • report on a research study

Poster session presenters place materials such as pictures, data, graphs, diagrams and narrative text on boards (roughly 2m2 or 4'x8' in size). During assigned time periods, presenters informally discuss their presentations with conference attendees, provide handouts, etc. Note that poster sessions are presentations, not promotional or commercial events. The conference Show & Tell, Exhibitor and Advertiser opportunities serve these purposes.
