A Few Words About the Opening Event
On Wednesday evening, October 22nd, 2008, there will be an opening event at the Palacio to welcome everyone to the SIETAR Global 2008 Congress.
The evening will begin in the auditorium with a few words of welcome by the director of the Alhambra, Maria del Mar Villafranca, and by the president of the University of Granada, Francisco González Lodeiro.
This will be followed by a lively flamenco performance and a keynote speech by Miguel Gandert entitled Rituals of Early Globalization: Reading History and Intercultural Relationships in Photography.
Afterwards we invite you to join us in the exhibitor’s area of the main hall for welcoming drinks and tapas.
